Weendel (“we”, “our”, “us”) respects your privacy. This policy explains what we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have.

What we collect

• Email address, when you choose to subscribe via the email capture card on a trip plan page.
• Usage data, including pages visited, content tapped, and approximate session duration. We use PostHog for this. We do not collect or share personally identifiable information through analytics.
• Server logs, including IP address and request timestamps, kept for debugging and abuse prevention.

We do not collect names, phone numbers, or location data.

How we use it

• Email addresses are used to send you the trip plan you generated and occasional weekend ideas. You can unsubscribe at any time.
• Usage data helps us understand which content people find useful so we can curate better.
• Server logs are retained for up to 30 days.

Who we share it with

• Resend (email delivery service)
• PostHog (analytics service)
• Anthropic (when you generate a trip plan, your inputs are sent to Anthropic’s API to produce the plan)

We do not sell your data.

Your rights

You can request deletion of your email address by replying to any email we send, or by contacting us at hello@weendel.com.

Cookies

We use a small set of cookies and local storage for essential functionality (e.g., remembering which weekend you’re viewing). We do not use advertising cookies.
